MISA supplements the UT MIS program by empowering MISA members to connect with companies hiring MIS majors and by enhancing members' technology skills beyond the MIS curriculum.  MISA members network more, know more, and have fun in an active and involved student organization!

Before there was an MIS program, there was the Data Processing and Analysis program. Established in 1980 - The Data Processing Management Association started what years later became the Management Information Systems Association.
